Experience with SharedReach
Retail Excellence
Gurugram, Haryana, India
Sep 2013 – Nov 2020 (7 Years, 2 Months)
I started my career with SharedReach in 2013 and, I was an integral part of the product development team, working intensively to understand the company's vision and developing its core product. Under the mentorship of the Director of the company, I worked on multiple technologies across all tiers of web-based applications with the backbone as Python-Django. I was responsible for enriching the product with new features, optimizing solutions at all ends, and engineering complex problems using Artificial Intelligence. Throughout my service, I engaged myself in planning, researching, evaluating, and synthesizing ideas to technical specifications for the deliverable products.
In 2016, we started research on computer vision to automate and simplify the manual process of auditing visual images. We began with rudimentary computer vision and statistical algorithms but soon made our way into deep neural networks. We developed numerous prototypes using convolution neural networks using images collected over the years. With many trials and obstacles, we achieved significant accuracy and performance to create an automated solution with few limitations. We conducted pilots with few clients and developed an MVP to solve shelf-share, planogram compliance, and SKU presence in the retail outlets and showrooms.
